AIRCRAFT GRADE ALUMINUM & STAINLESS STEEL – The KastKing Gila fishing pliers are made from durable T6061 and T6063 aircraft grade aluminum offering superior saltwater corrosion protection and long-term performance. The serrated jaws are manufactured with durable 420 stainless steel. These pliers perform great in both freshwater and harsh saltwater environments.
CHROME VANADIUM LINE SCISSORS& DEHOOKER – The titanium coated chrome vanadium scissor style fishing line cutters cut though mono, fluorocarbon, or braided lines with ease and leave a sharp clean cut. These side mounted scissor cutters allow you to cut your tag end as close to the knot as you want without any obstructions. The split ring nose pliers are designed with an integrated hook-out feature to assist with removing stubborn hard to reach hooks.
MULTI-FUNCTION JAWS – Our built-in rubber “gripper” section in the jaws helps you cinch knots by holding your line with the rubber and pulling to tighten your knot. We also include integrated holes on the front section of the handle where you can insert a hook to safely pull your knot tight. Other jaw features include crimping slots to secure a split shot weight or build a steel leader.
NON-SLIP HANDLE & SHEATH – The rubber handles provide comfort and control. They help to prevent slipping in your hand and are spring loaded. We include a custom molded rubber sheath with a belt clip that ensures your investment is protected from normal wear and tear. The coiled lanyard ensures your pliers don’t fall overboard! These scissors produce a sharp clean cut, and the side mounting location allows you to cut close to knots when needed. When used as a fishhook remover, fine serrated jaws allow you to firmly grip a fishhook for easy removal. On the split ring nose pliers only, we have designed a small round section on the tip of the pliers to help you find and grab hooks for de-hooking your catch. The grooved slots in the center of the jaws are ideal for crimping sleeves for a leader or attaching split shot weights to fishing line. We make it easy to cinch knots using your Gila pliers. Holes near the front of the handle are designed to allow you to safely insert a hook and pull a knot tight. We have also built-in a grooved rubber section near the back of the jaws allowing you to grip the tag end of you line and cinch it down tight. You will find the non-slip rubber handles are both comfortable and easy to grip, and the spring-loaded jaws make it easy to operate these pliers.
